How was everyone’s weekend….(crickets)

Ok…

Mine was awesome. I’m still kinda in weekend mode, but oh well. NB has the day off  today so we ran some errands…and will probably leave again soon. The weather here is very dreary. We went to eat at Kim Wah which was really good as always. Then we visited with NB’s parents and left foxxxy there and headed to Office Depot. They had some good sales so we picked up some much needed supplies (paper, pencils, pens, notebooks)! I was happy cause I got some stickies.

Then we also got the tires replaced on my neon. They didn’t have that many miles on them…only 30k, but they were the factory ones and they always skidded when driving around when it’s raining. Which it is raining. I drove home and I’m happy to report that they did *not* skid.

This past Saturday I went to my niece’s quinceanera. It was nice seeing family members that I had not seen in a really long time. I also had some drink which I had not done in a while either Good times!!!

P.S. this steely dan song was playing on the drive home…and I actually sang along.

NB just placed another *huge* order from Ponoko. This Obama necklace is from our last order and we finally have them for sale.

I prefer the charms filled in. I think they look so good.

The only problem we’ve had is that the parts always have a white film on them…and after lots of trail and error figured out a way to get this residue off. Secret reciepe #101 ;p, but it’s kinda of a pain to do this procedure everytime we order something. Just sayin’.

Why do I hear all this talk that McCain is going to take it….where are all these supporters???? Cause I don’t see/hear any! ;p

We will be replacing all of the shrink plastic items with laser cut acrylic! Whew…I’m excited about these new ones. They are sooooo much more durable and are equally cute. Same design…higher quality materials!

I love alot of HeadlessTess creations just cause they are soooo bright and shiny. I love this one with the cracked heart with the band aid over it. Although I certainly don’t have a broken heart right now…I would have definitly worn this years ago when I did have a broken heart. I also like the Goodbye Kitty…a dead kitty.

Anything hand painted is awesome in my book. I am also a skull addict…there was a point that everything I was wearing and buying *had* to have skulls on it. I love the roses for the eyes and the gold color of the bag compliments it nicely. The ray gun clutch is also pretty awesome.

This print by pinkytoast caught my eye. First off…it’s Halloween related and I like the moon girl. It kinda reminds me of this re-curring dream I had growing up. Scary…check out this pumpkin print.

I don’t know what NB and I are going to do? Probably grab something good to eat and watch some tv. I really want to see Pineapple Express. It’s getting alot of good reviews and everyone seems to like it.

Um…Raven is in concert tomorrow and my mom has been excited about it. So I’m probably going tomorrrow to see Raven at Fiesta Texas. I have never seen her show or heard her sing….is she good? I guess we’ll find out tomorrow!

Oh how I wish I could have seen John in concert this year…I saw him once back in 2005. Maroon 5 opened for him and when they were singing “She will be loved” it *was* raining…just like the song says…”I don’t mind spending everyday…out on your corner in the pouring rain”
